Procurement of 2 Nos. Top Heavy Lift Trucks (40 Ton) for Sri Lanka Ports Authority

- the volume of domestic cargo handled in the Port of Colombo continues to increase with the steady economic growth in the country and it has been found necessary to commence procurement activities for the purchase of the above mentioned cargo handling equipment. Accordingly, the proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways, to appoint a Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee to handle the procurement of the above, and also to appoint a Technical Evaluation Committee for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
