Awarding the Contract of Conducting Pre-Feasibility Studies for the Proposed Badulla-Bibila-Wellawaya New Railroad to the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB)

- the proposal made by Hon. Kumara Welgama, Minister of Transport to conduct a per-feasibility study of the above project as well as two other alternatives, in the first instance and to entrust the work to the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB), which is a government concern, was approved by the Cabinet.
