Annual Report of the Sri Lanka Foundation for the year 2009 to Parliament

- during the year under review, the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute has concentrated mainly on capacity building of public sector organizations, community leaders, law enforcement officers and other public and cooperate sector employees. During 2009 the institute has conducted 123 programmes earning a sum of Rs.7,345,457.25 as income from fee-levying courses and externally funded education training programme. Under the Language Training Programme, it has conducted a certificate course in spoken Tamil, for the participants to gain ability to speak in simple Tamil, to develop day to day communication skills in Tamil etc. and a certificate course in Spoken English. The above Annual Report presented by H.E. the President, was approved for presentation in Parliament.
