Annual Report and Accounts of the Development Lotteries Board - 2010

- during the year under review the Development Lotteries Board has earned an income of Rs.5.67 billion. Compared to its income in 2009 which stood at Rs.5.22 billion, this is a growth of 8.62%. Also, Rs.3406 million has been given out as awards and a surplus income of Rs.937.9 million has been earned in the year 2010. It shows a growth of 70% compared to Rs.551.7 million earned as a surplus income in the year 2009. In addition, the Development Lotteries Board has also paid Rs.799.5 million to the President's Fund in 2010. The proposal made by H.E. the President in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Planning to present the Annual Report and Accounts of the Development Lotteries Board for the year 2010 in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
