Tender for the Supply of Rabies Vaccine BP/USP (Human Use) (1ml /0.5ml) 356,000 vials MSD/P/12/2012 - DHS/C/P/278/ 2012 - SR No. 060026

- this vaccine is recommended by Doctors as an essential life saving item against dog bites. The proposal made by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health, to award the tender for the purchase of 356,000 vials of this vaccine to a company in Germany at a total cost of Rs.198,802,204.96 (US$ 1,815,600.00) as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
