Augmentation of Baddegama Water Supply Scheme - Approval of Total Cost Estimate (TCE)

- the present water supply scheme at Baddegama is inadequate to meet the current demand for water in the area and therefore Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Water Supply and Drainage proposes to implement the aforesaid project as an extension to Baddegama Group Water Supply Scheme. In order to implement the proposal an allocation of Rs.440.46 million within the Medium Term Budgetary Framework for 2013-2015, was approved by the Cabinet.
