Procurement of a contractor for the construction of Civil Works of the section from Kaduwela to Kadawatha (Northern Section I) of the Outer Circular Highway Project

- this highway starts from Kottawa and traverses through Kaduwela, Kadawatha and ends up at Kerawalapitiya. It connects the Colombo-Katunayake Expressway at Kerawalapitiya, Colombo - Kandy Expressway at Kadawatha and Southern Expressway at Kottawa. The total length of the Highway is 29.1 km. The proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways, to award the civil works contract for a sum of Rs.44.88 billion, was approved by the Cabinet.
