Tender for Supply of Rabies Vaccine 71U BP/USP - (Human use - 140,000 Vials)

- this vaccine is recommended by Doctors as first treatment against dog bites. The proposal made by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health, to award the tender for the purchase of 140,000 vials of this vaccine to a company in Germany at a total cost of US $868,000 (Rs.97,814,654.00) as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
