Construction of Stage II of Migrant Resource Center at Tangalle

- on a decision taken by the Government, construction work of Stage I of the above Centre was commenced and nearly 85% of the work has been completed. This building is being constructed to meet the training needs of those seeking employment abroad. Stage II of the project consists of the construction of a new four storied hostel building to provide residential facilities for 100 trainees. The proposal made by Hon. Dilan Perera, Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare to award the construction of Stage II of the project, to the State Engineering Corporation at a total cost of Rs.256,862,620.00, was approved by the Cabinet.
