64th Independence Day falling on 04th February 2012

- the proposal made by Hon. W.D.J. Seneviratne, Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs, for the appointment of a Cabinet Sub-Committee headed by Hon. D.M. Jayaratne, the Prime Minister and consisting of seven Ministers, for the preparation of the programme and to organize the necessary activities for the 64th Independence Day falling on 04th February 2012, was approved by the Cabinet.
