Donation of a baby elephant for Manila Zoo - commemorating the Golden Jubilee of Sri Lanka - Philippines relations

- the proposal made by Hon. D.M. Jayaratne, the Prime Minister, to donate a baby elephant from the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage to the Manila Zoo, on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee celebrations to mark the bi-lateral relations between Sri Lanka and Philippines, was approved by the Cabinet.
