Provincial Roads Project Funded By the World Bank Awarding of Supervision Consultancy Contract for Civil Work Contracts - Jaffna District - Northern Province

- the World Bank has allocated US$ 105 million for rehabilitation and upgrading provincial roads in Uva, Eastern and Northern Provinces. The proposal made by Hon. A.L.M. Athaullah, Minister of Local Government and Provincial Councils, to spend US$ 736,805.20 of the proceeds of this loan and a sum of Rs.213,191,748.20 local funds for the supervision of construction of civil contracts in the Jaffna District, Northern Province, was approved by the Cabinet.
