Construction of a new three storied building for the Divisional Secretariat, Mathugama

- the proposal made by Hon. W.D.J. Seneviratne, Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs to construct a new three storied building, at a total cost of Rs.97.5 million, for the Divisional Secretariat, Mathugama, to provide better facilities for the residents in Mathugama, covering 57 Grama Niladhari Divisions with a population of 81,350, was approved by the Cabinet. Preliminary work is to commence in 2011 and the balance work will be completed in 2012.
