Kapruka Navodawa - National Coconut Sector Development Plan

- with the peaceful environment prevailing in the country, the Ministry of Coconut Development and Janatha Estate Development has already commenced rehabilitation and new coconut plantations in all provinces with potential for coconut cultivation, including the Northern and Eastern Provinces. The proposal made by Hon. A.P. Jagath Pushpakumara, Minister of Coconut Development and Janatha Estate Development to implement the National Coconut Sector Development Plan within the next 06 years in 180 selected Divisional Secretary Devisions in the country, was approved by the Cabinet.
