Augmentation of Hakmana Water Supply Scheme

- the Urban Development Authority has planned to develop Hakmana as a town centre in Matara District. The proposal made by Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Water Supply and Drainage to augment the Hakmana Water Supply Scheme at a cost of Rs.383.36 million, with funds to be provided from 2011 - 2013, was approved by the Cabinet. Under this project, it is proposed to increase the pipe borne water supply facilities of 13 Grama Niladhari Divisions in the Hakmana Pradeshiya Sabha area.
