Amendment of Registration of Document Ordinance and Notaries Ordinance

- the proposal made by Hon. W.D.J. Seneviratne, Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs to present in Parliament, the necessary amendments for the above two Ordinances, was approved by the Cabinet. Amendments to the Notaries Ordinance will require the Notary attesting or authenticating a Deed to clearly specify the Divisional Secretary's Division, the Local Authority, the Grama Niladhari Division and any other division of the District in which the land is situated, instead of Pattu and Korale.
