Conducting Mobile Community Assistance Programmes under the theme "Jana Sethata - Jana Hawula"

- the proposal made by Hon. Mervyn Silva, Minister of Public Relations and Public Affairs, to conduct Mobile Programmes for the above, was approved by the Cabinet. The objective of this programme is to provide opportunities for the people living in and around the relevant areas where these programmes are conducted, to find solutions as far as possible to their unresolved problems and also to make the people aware of the development activities of the Government, presently taking place in the said areas.
