The Annual Report and Accounts of the Sri Lanka Savings Bank - 2010
- the assets and liabilities of the defaulted Pramuka Savings and Development Bank were vested with the Sri Lanka Savings Bank in August 2007 by the Central Bank. The Sri Lanka Savings Bank commenced business in March 2008 as a State Owned Savings Bank. The profit after tax for the year 2010 has been 277.5 million which is an increase of Rs.90.2 million (48.2%) from the previous year. The gross income of the Bank in 2010 has been Rs.500.7 million, an increase of Rs.46 million (10.1%) from the previous year. The proposal made by H.E. the President to submit the above Annual Report and Accounts of the Bank in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
