Bilateral Air Services Negotiations between Sri Lanka and Russian Federation

- the Aeronautical Authorities of Sri Lanka and Russia have held bilateral Air Services negotiations in July 2011 to discuss a new Air Services Agreement to replace the old Agreement reached in 1964. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Piyankara Jayaratne, Minister of Civil Aviation to sign the relevant Air Services Agreement, was approved by the Cabinet. Sri Lankan Airlines is to commence its operations to Moscow from September 2011.
