Conflict Affected Region Emergency Project ? Award of Contracts for two civil works contract packages

-the Government of Sri Lanka has obtained a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Rehabilitation and Improvement of around 65 Km. of National Highways under the Conflict Affected Region Emergency Project. The proposal made by H.E. the President to utilize part of the proceeds of this loan for the following, was approved by the Cabinet:

* Rehabilitation/Improvements to Mankulam - Vellankulam Road (37.81 Km.)
* Rehabilitation/Improvements to Paranthan - Pooneryn Road (25.74 Km.)
