Capitalization of Sri Lankan Airlines and Mihin Lanka

- the proposal made by Hon. Piyankara Jayaratne, Minister of Civil Aviation, to increase the fleet of Aircraft of the Sri Lankan Airlines from 17 to 23 by 2014, to be used for international air transportation and for an equity investment of US $500 million over a period of 5 years on an annual basis commencing from 2012, was approved by the Cabinet.
