Formulation of a new procedure for the purchase of medicines and surgical equipment required for the Ministry of Health

- the proposal made by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health, to appoint a Ministerial Committee under the Chairmanship of Hon. (Dr.) Sarath Amunugama, Senior Minister for International Monetary Cooperation and consisting of Hon. (Prof.) Tissa Vitharana, Senior Minister for Scientific Affairs, Hon. Susil Premajayantha, Minister of Petroleum Industries and Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, Minister of Power and Energy, to make recommendations for the formulation of a new procedure for the purchase of medicines and surgical equipment required for the Ministry of Health, was approved by the Cabinet.
