Hatton - Nuwara Eliya Road Improvement Project funded by the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) of Korea

- the government has received a loan of US$ 40 million from the Economic Development Co-operation Fund of Korea towards the cost of improvements to Hatton- Nuwara Eliya section (46.75 km) of the Avissawella - Hatton - Nuwara Eliya road (A7). The proposal made by H.E. the President, on the recommendation of the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC) and the Technical Evaluation Committee to award the contract for a sum of Rs.3,767 million, was approved by the Cabinet.
