Rehabilitation of Pillaiyar (Ganadeviyo) Kovil at Thunnukai in Mullathivu District by the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau

- several construction activities have been undertaken by the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau, which is a Government concern, in the Northern Province and work costing over Rs.500 million has already been completed. The proposal made by Hon. Nimal Siripala de Silva, Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Management, to assist in the rehabilitation of the above Kovil by contributing Rupees Five (5.0) million from profits earned in the region by the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau, was approved by the Cabinet.
