Improvements to Operating Theatre - Base Hospital, Medirigiriya

- this is the second largest hospital in the Polonnaruwa District which caters to about 70,000 people living in the area. The proposal made by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health, to award the contract for the improvements to the Operating Theatre of this hospital to the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau, at a cost of Rs.16,336,207.09, was approved by the Cabinet.
