Hosting of International Coordination Meeting of Youth Organizations (ICMYO) - 2011 in New York, USA in line with the UN High Level Meeting on Youth

- this organization comprises of well recognized International Youth Organizations. It consists of 7 Regional Youth Councils, 21 major International Youth Organizations 5 Regional Inter-governmental Bodies, 21 UN Agencies and 5 Observer Organizations. Its main objective is strengthening of the cooperation among youth organizations at global as well as regional level. The International Coordination Meeting is to be held from 23rd to 27th July 2011 in New York, USA. On a proposal made by Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma, Minister of Youth Affairs and Skills Development to host this Meeting was approved by the Cabinet.
