Purchase of a Tabletting Machine and a Fluid Bed Processor for increase of capacity of the State Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Corporation

- this is the only State Owned Institution that manufactures essential drugs. This was gifted by the Japanese Government in 1987 with machinery made in Japan and European countries. The proposal made by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health to purchase the above machines to increase the manufacturing capacity of the institution, was approved by the Cabinet.
