Commencement of the functioning of the newly established Public Service Commission (PSC)

- H.E. the President informed the Cabinet of Ministers that the Public Service Commission has been newly established in terms of the provisions of the Eighteenth Amendment to the Constitution and it has commenced functioning with effect from 19th May 2011. All Secretaries of Ministries have been informed to henceforth refer matters to be dealt with by the PSC in terms of the provisions of the Constitution, to the PSC.
