Tender for the Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Instrument Landing System & Distance Measuring Equipment (ILS & DME) at Bandaranaike International Airport

? the proposal made by Hon. Piyankara Jayaratne, Minister of Civil Aviation, on the recommendation of the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC) and the Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) to procure the above, to replace the existing equipments installed at the BIA to facilitate instrument guided, automatic landing facility for approaching air craft under all weather conditions where the runway prevails at low visibility conditions, was approved by the Cabinet. The total foreign component of the project will be 544,890.00 Sterling Pounds and the local component Sri Lankan Rs.24,500,000.00.
