Trincomalee Port City Development Project - Appointment of a Cabinet Appointed Negotiating Committee (CANC) & a Project Committee (PC)

? the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) owns an approximate land area of 2000 Hectares in the vicinity of the port of Trincomalee. It has been observed that this land has high potential to contribute to the Sri Lanka economy by developing it for port related businesses. On a proposal made by H.E. The President, proposals are to be called from interested parties to develop this land to establish port related businesses. Accordingly, Cabinet approval was granted to appoint a Cabinet Appointed Negotiating Committee (CANC) and a Project Committee (PC) to evaluate proposals received for same.
