Industrial Estate at Panadura - Modarawila - Construction of 2 Nos. of Box Culverts and Repair Works to Existing Road Net Work within the Industrial Estate

- 25 Industrial Establishments are operating in this Estate and some of them are BOI Projects and branded companies. This Zone provides more than 4000 direct employment opportunities for the area contributing to the Regional Economic Development. Six acres of land have been used for the construction of 288 housing units for Tsunami affected people. The proposal made by H.E. the President to repair the road network at a cost of Rs.23,735,000.00 and to construct two box culverts at a cost of Rs.6,975,000.00, was approved by the Cabinet.
