Timely completion of Construction at Homagama, Pitipana Mahinda Rajapaksha National School

- on a proposal made by Hon. Badula Gunawardena, Minister of Education, this school is to be developed as a fully fledged secondary school at Homagama at a cost of about Rs.800 million and funds are to be provided in the annual budgets of the Ministry of Education up to 2015. There are 650 students of Grade 06 in this school and it has been proposed to construct a three storied building with 36 class rooms to provide enhanced facilities to this school.
