National Police Academy Bill

- this draft Bill prepared by the Legal Draftsman, on a proposal made by H.E. the President and approved by the Cabinet, makes provision for the establishment of a permanent National Police Academy with the objective of developing professional knowledge and skills of Police Officers and other Law Enforcement Officers selected for training at the academy for appointment to respective professions. A Board of Management is to be appointed for the management and administration of the affairs of this academy. Cabinet approval was granted to present the relevant Bill in Parliament for approval.
