Implementation of a Housing Scheme in the land at Angulana within the Municipality Limits of Moratuwa in extent 0.6411 hectares already acquired

- the land in an extent of 0.6411 hectares situated at Angulana in the Moratuwa Municipal Council area has been acquired by the Government in 2009 for the settlement of people displaced by Sea Erosion. On a proposal made by Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities, it is intended to commence construction of a Multi storied Housing Scheme consisting of 384 Housing Units, through the Urban Settlement Authority. Initial expenditure for the purpose will be met from the budgetary provisions made available for 2011.
