Provincial Roads Project Funded by the World Bank - Awarding of Supervision Consultancy Contract for Civil Work Contracts Eastern Province Ampara District

- the World Bank has allocated US $105 million for the rehabilitation and upgrading of provincial roads in Uva, Eastern and Northern Provinces and a portion of the proceeds is to be utilized for the supervision of construction of the civil contracts in the Eastern Province, Ampara District. The cost of the services is US $1,112,100.00 and Sri Lankan Rs.142,895,000.00. The proposal made by Hon. A.L.M. Athaullah, Minister of Local Government and Provincial Councils, on the recommendation of the Cabinet Appointed Consultant Procurement Committee, to award the contract was approved by the Cabinet.
