Prajashakthi Development Project - Establishment of 35 new E-Kiosks Centers & Replace and increase the Number of Computers and Accessories at the Present 45 Prajashakthi Centres

- the Prajashakthi Project and the establishment of E-Kiosks Centers commenced soon after the Saumyamoorthi Thondaman Memorial Foundation was established through an Act of Parliament in 2005. It is anticipated to establish 450 Prajashakthi Centres and complete them within a period of ten years. This will be the focal point of delivery of Information and Communication Technology based services to the plantation rural community for socio economic development. On a proposal made by Hon. Arumugan Thondaman, Minister of Livestock and Rural Community Development, Cabinet approval was granted to set up 35 new e-Kiosks Centres in 2011 as the third stage of the project.
