Extension to Medical Wards - Completion of Work of Fourth Floor - Phase II, Teaching Hospital, Jaffna

- this is the major hospital in the Northern Province which is being visited by a large number of patients in the Jaffna District. With the view to provide better medical facilities to the people living in an around Jaffna, action has been taken by the Government, on a proposal by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health, to construct a medical wards complex consisting of five floors of which construction of three floors has already been completed. Cabinet approval was granted to award the completion of the balance work of the forth floor of the wards complex to the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau at a cost of Rs.70,708,396.78.
