Hosting the Proposed Commonwealth Games 2018 to be held at Hambantota - Submission of Guarantees

- on a proposal made by Hon. Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Minister of Sports, Cabinet approval was granted to provide an assurance to the Commonwealth Games Federation that in the event Sri Lanka wins the bid to host the Commonwealth Games in Hambantota in 2018, the Government of Sri Lanka will meet any financial requirements found necessary for the purpose.
