Hosting the Proposed Commonwealth Games 2018 to be held at Hambantota

- on a proposal made by Hon. Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Minister of Sports, Cabinet approval was granted for the appointment of the relevant officials and for all present Directors to sign on behalf of the Hambantota District Authorities confirming that the Bid Company is empowered to represent the Candidate City and sign contracts and other documents on behalf of the Hambantota District.
