2600 Sri Sambuddhatva Jayanthi Commemorative Exhibition

- on a proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Jagath Balasooriya, Minister of National Heritage, Cabinet approval was granted to hold an exhibition in the premises of the National Museum of Colombo for a period of 01 week commencing 21st May to mark this occasion. This exhibition will depict the life of Lord Buddha and the spread of Buddhism in India and the contributions made by Sri Lanka in the spread of Buddhism throughout the world.
