Construction of a Hostel for 400 female students at Rajagiriya University of Visual and Performing Arts

- this University was established in 2006 and hostel accommodation is presently available only for 320 students. On a proposal made by Hon. S.B. Dissanayake, Minister of Higher Education, on the recommendation of the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC), Cabinet approval was granted to award the construction of the above at a total cost of Rs.110 million. On completion of the Project, the University will be able to provide hostel facilities to a greater number of students.
