Maintaining a proper and updated database regarding housing by establishing the Janasevana National Housing Secretariat

- on a proposal made by Hon. Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities, Cabinet approval was granted for the establishment of this Secretariat which will act as a Centre that connect the housing market in order to provide information for all those in need of houses, for Housing Property Developers, Contractors and Capital Providers. This institution will gather information on housing programmes implemented by various institutions and individuals in Sri Lanka.
