Tender for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Aeronautical High Frequency Transmitters with Antenna at H.F. Transmitting Station at Ratmalana Airport

- through this project it is expected to replace three of the 24 year old transmitters to enhance performance and reliability of the high frequency communication between ground and flying aircraft within Colombo flight indication region. On a proposal made by Hon. Piyankara Jayaratne, Minister of Civil Aviation, on the recommendation of the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee and Project Committee, Cabinet approval was granted to award the tender for a sum of US $ 708,725.00 and local cost amounting to Rs.17,660,000.00.
