Construction of a Hostel for 400 Male Students of the University of Visual Performing Arts at Dehiwala

- this University which was setup in 2006, has a current student population of 2960, of which only 320 students have been provided with hostel accommodation. On a proposal made by the Minister of Higher Education, Hon. S.B. Dissanayake, on the recommendation of the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, Cabinet approval was granted to award the contract for the construction of a hostel for 400 male students at this University at a cost of Rs.97.95 million.
