Renovation of the Operating Theatre - General Hospital, Polonnaruwa

- a large number of patients from within the district and from areas around it visit this hospital daily for treatment. With the view to provide better healthcare services to the people in the area, the proposal made by the Minister of Health, Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, for the renovation of the Operating Theatre of this hospital and to entrust the work to the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB) which is a Government Institution at a cost of Rs.19.67 million, was approved by the Cabinet.
