Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2010-12-29

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Agricultural Co-operation between the Ministry of Food and Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka

- covering approval of the Cabinet was granted for the above MOU which has been signed on 28.11.2010 when His Excellency the President of Pakistan visited Sri Lanka. In terms of this Agreement, opportunities will be provided for the development of cultivation of fruits, vegetables and cereals and also for exchange of agricultural information on science and technology and other agricultural activities between the two countries.
