Memorandum of Understanding between the Samastha Lanka Sasanarakshaka Mandalaya and Vietnam Buddhist Sangha

- It has been proposed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Samastha Lanka Sasanarakshaka Mandalaya and Vietname Buddhist Sangha for further strengthening the existing cultural and religious relationship between Vietnam and Sri Lanka. The Draft Memorandum of Understanding for that purpose, has received the approval of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the clearance of the Attorney General's Department. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs to sign the said Memorandum of Understanding, was approved by the Cabinet.
