“Nakathata Pelayak” - National Tree Planting Programme

- According to the 2024 Avurudu Nakath Seettuwa, the National Tree Planting Auspicious Time has been set as at 6.16 a.m. on April 18. The information presented by the Minister of Agriculture and Plantation Industries, mentioning that the steps are being taken to apprise the public to plant a perennial crop with an export potential or a perennial crop with a food value at that auspicious time and implement a programme for that purpose, was noted by the Cabinet.
