Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sri Lanka Institute of Biotechnology Private Limited (SLIBTEC) and the Monash University, Australia

- It has been proposed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between Sri Lanka Institute of Biotechnology (Private) Limited and Monash University, Australia in order to establish collaboration for rsesearch and innovation related activities. The concurrence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the clearance of the Attorney General have been received for the draft MoU which covers a wide range of activities including preparation of joint proposals with research and service collaborations, innovation, technology development and dissemination of knowledge, exchange of research materials, exchange of scholars, scientists and students, conduct of cooperative seminars, workshops and research related activities etc. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to sign the said Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties, was approved by the Cabinet.
