Establishment of a Cyclotron Based Pharmaceutical Production Facility in Sri Lanka on Build, Own and Operate (BOO) basis

- The Cabinet at its meeting held on 2021‑03‑29 has granted approval to implement a Cyclotron Based Pharmaceutical Production Facility in Sri Lanka with loans granted from local banks and donations. Accordingly, Expressions of Interest have been invited to implement this Project on Build, Own and Operate (BOO) basis and 05 proposals have been received for the same. The proposal made by the Minster of Power and Energy to award the relevant Contract to Access International (Pvt) Ltd. which has submitted the proposal having fulfilled all technical requirements, based on the recommendations of the Project Committee and the Cabinet Appointed Negotiating Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
